Father Paul's Ordination

Our time here has been one of learning, new challenges and growth for us all.  What with children starting new schools and Jacqui beginning a new career as a chemistry teacher.   Of course I have been adjusting to new routines and work relationships.  Naturally this has continued since my ordination to the priesthood in June.  And what a joyous occasion that was for us all and what a wonderful week in the life of Saint Luke's.  Most importantly in the past year I have had the privilege of serving the people of Kingstanding.  Not only serving the growing family of worshippers at Saint Luke's but the wider community also.  This is especially true of my involvement in the Churches community projects.  I have also has the privilege to minister to many bereaved families in this last year at a difficult and vulnerable time for them.  We look forward to the next year, the adventures and growth it will bring.  I also hope that as we further settle down I will get to do a little more fishing!'
